Passive Vehicle Tracking - GO RF Checkmate System

GEOTAB Checkmate GPS Mapping GEOTAB GO RF GPS Tracking System

This is a one of a kind, high resolution GPS tracking system that provides either passive or real-time GPS tracking, or both in one fleet! Companies have the opportunity to mix real-time vehicle tracking and passive vehicle tracking platforms in one fleet, using one database. This is a great system for small fleets or enterprise applications on a WAN. It only takes about 60 seconds to download data using the wireless connection and there is no need for manager involvement during the download process. When using the GO Live unit the GPS system updates every 30-300 seconds depending on vehicle activity, not time intervals. The GO Live system provides the same level of detail as the GO RF and GO Key passive GPS systems!

Possible Applications:

  • GO offers a platform for all fleet sizes. The building block approach allows the smallest fleets to start with the GO Key system, update to GO RF and implement GO Live or GO Mobile when fleet tracking requirements change. Large organizations can centralize a SQL database and have multiple GO platforms reporting to one centralized database for the entire country! Checkmate is the only system on the market today that provides customers the flexibility to have multiple systems sharing one database, using one software application and providing similar data among all platforms.

Mode of Operation:

  • High resolution data recorder (passive) or real-time vehicle tracking version. Data from both GPS systems are sent to the Checkmate® software.

Communication Method:

  • Data is transferred from the vehicle using a encrypted and reliable 900MHz wireless connection (GO RF), an optional memory stick (GO Key) or using the GPRS network for real-time applications (GO Live & GO Mobile).
