Onboard Advisor® - Safety Driven Insurance

Onboard Advisor is a GPS-based Safety-Driven Insurance™ product focused on risk management and loss prevention. It enables businesses using a qualified GPS fleet and safety management system to improve safety, save fuel and save on commercial auto insurance by reducing at-risk driving events. Independent Insurance Agents representing participating Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation (a division of Liberty Mutual Group) companies – Montgomery Insurance, Liberty Northwest, Golden Eagle, Ohio Casualty, and Indiana Insurance -- can add Onboard Advisor at no charge to a qualified telematics system.

What is included with the Onboard Advisor product?

Onboard Advisor includes:

1. Performance Advisor – a driver analytic tool that helps reduce at-risk driving and save on fuel bills.
2. Fuel Card – a no-fee fuel card that is tied to both the vehicle and the driver to help track actual fuel costs, save on the price of gas at the pump and automate fuel card billing.
3. Insurance Discount – based on improved driving safety performance

By adding Onboard Advisor to their qualified GPS-telematics systems, businesses can analyze actual driving performance to:

Performance Advisor™

Performance Advisor tracks and gathers data on each vehicle’s performance. Then, it analyzes the data and provides in-depth driver reports to the business’s fleet manager with targeted feedback that addresses risky behavior and improves safety. Easy-to-read on-line tools and reports help businesses manage at-risk driving and improve fleet safety.

Performance Advisor is available to clients at no-charge for up to two years. At the end of two years, clients must place their auto insurance with a participating Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation insurance company. If they do not, they must pay a monthly fee per vehicle to retain this Onboard Advisor service.

Fuel Card Program

This centralized fuel payment system monitors vehicle fuel consumption and helps eliminate expense reporting. (Available to qualifying customers*)

Insurance Discounts

Clients of participating Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation companies can earn 15% in safe driving discounts the first year with a qualified commercial auto policy from a Liberty Mutual company. As the fleet’s safe driving increases, operators can reduce losses, control fuel costs and earn discounts of up to 40% on their qualifying commercial auto policy, depending on driving safety improvements.**

Dashboard

The dashboard combines the client’s GPS service and the features of Onboard Advisor to display safety score, fuel efficiency score and estimated insurance discount at a glance.

Risk Management Reports

Clients view daily, weekly and monthly fleet performance reports, as well as complete driving history and analysis of driving events and scoring.

Available with the GO5 and GO4 Live GPS Tracking Devices
